Protect your One Time Password (OTP)

It is crucial to keep your personal information safe in today's digital age. One of the most important pieces of information to protect is your One Time Password (OTP). Your OTP is a unique code sent to your registered mobile number or email to verify and complete online transactions.

Please remember that you should never share your OTP with anyone, including family members or friends, as this information can be used to fraudulently access your bank account and make unauthorized transactions. Scammers and fraudsters use various tactics to trick people into sharing their OTP, so always be vigilant and avoid sharing this sensitive information.

This message is from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka - Financial Intelligence Unit, and we urge you to take this advice seriously and protect your financial information at all times.
