As part of our ongoing commitment to community development and in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, our organization recently carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support students in need.

On 20th February 2026, we extended our support to Yatipasgamuwa School in the rural area of Balangoda, which serves students from underprivileged families. These children face significant challenges in accessing basic educational essentials required for their studies and daily school life.

To help ease this burden, we donated essential stationery supplies, school shoes, school bags, and other educational materials, along with dry food packs to support their families. This initiative was aimed at creating a more equitable and encouraging learning environment for the students.

Malindhu Rukshan, Cluster Manager – Micro Auto, organized this meaningful program under the leadership of Chinthaka Seram, Senior Regional Manager. The initiative was successfully carried out together with the dedicated team from the Balangoda branch, under the guidance of the Sustainable Governance Committee chaired by our Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Laksanda Gunawardena, along with the committee members.

Through initiatives such as this, we continue to reaffirm our commitment to supporting education and uplifting communities in need.
